Surface density
The mass of one square meter of dry aramid fabric. Affects the mass of the reinforcing layer and the number of layers in the part. The batch value is confirmed by the factory.
THREADS PER 10 MMs
Number of warp and weft threads in a 10 mm section. Notation 12x12 means 12 warp threads and 12 weft threads. The parameter characterizes the density of the tissue structure.
Fabric thickness
Nominal thickness of dry fabric before impregnation and molding. The final thickness of the composite depends on the resin, pressure and number of layers.
Weaving
Plain weaving is geometrically stable, while twill weaving has better drape. The available version of the selected density is confirmed by the factory according to the technical brief.
500D aramid fabric
500D - linear density of aramid thread in denier. The surface density of the item is 120 g/m², the structure is 13x13 threads per 10 mm. The weaving, width and parameters of the batch are confirmed by the factory.
13×13 threads per 10 mm
13 warp threads and 13 weft threads on an area of 10 mm. The actual structure of the batch is confirmed by the factory.
How are price and lead time confirmed?
Prices are per m² and reflect area and payment method where listed in the client price list. Unpriced fabrics are quoted on enquiry. Cut lengths, batch details and lead time are agreed before payment.
