Tensile strength
The maximum stress that carbon fiber will withstand in tension before failure. Specified in gigapascals.

Modulus of elasticity
Characterizes the tensile stiffness of the fiber: the higher the value, the less deformation under the same load.

Elongation to failure
The relative increase in fiber length before failure, expressed as a percentage.

Linear density
Thread mass per unit length. The table shows it in grams per kilometer.

Fiber Density
The mass of fiber material per unit volume, expressed in grams per cubic centimeter.

Filament diameter
The nominal diameter of one filament carbon fiber, expressed in micrometers.
